Before you book

  • Tell the groomer your dog's breed, size and age, and when it was last groomed.
  • Say if the coat is knotted or matted; it changes the time and the price.
  • Check whether nails, ears and a hygiene trim are part of the price.
  • Ask for a pick-up time; some salons keep dogs for the whole morning.
  • Mention health issues, nerves or a history of biting so the groomer can plan the session.
