Before you book
- Tell the groomer your dog's breed, size and age, and when it was last groomed.
- Mention any matting: heavily matted coats often have to be clipped short and can cost more.
- Check whether nails, ears and a hygiene trim are part of the price.
- Ask for a pick-up time; some salons keep dogs for the whole morning.
- If your dog is nervous, elderly or has a health condition, say so when you book.
