Before you book

  • Tell the groomer your dog's breed, size and age, and when it was last groomed.
  • Mention any matting: heavily matted coats often have to be clipped short and can cost more.
  • Check whether nails, ears and a hygiene trim are part of the price.
  • Ask whether the van needs a parking space or a power or water hook-up at your home.
  • Mention health issues, nerves or a history of biting so the groomer can plan the session.
